Fall Fest

Join us for a public community day to kick off the Fall season at the Bay Area’s only Conservation Community. Come celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Linear Park and share a taste of the Lagoon Valley lifestyle with friends, family, and neighbors. Tour model homes with Lennar and Taylor Morrison, and meet future builders, K. Hovnanian, DR Horton and KB Home. We’ll have lunch and local treats, kids’ activities, music, and an opportunity to meet and chat with City officials joining us for the festivities. No RSVP Required.

Landscape Painting with Cristie Baron
Vacaville artist and teacher Cristie Baron conducted a hands-on painting class of the breath taking landscape in Lagoon Valley – all materials supplied.
Nature and the local landscape are an endless source of inspiration for Cristie. She teaches classes in painting and mixed media at Joyful Art Studio in Vacaville. The Lifesize cow located in the Visitors Center is adorned with the beautiful landscape of Lagoon Valley painted by Baron as part of Visit Vacaville’s public art project. “I believe there is value in the process of art and that all can benefit no matter the final product.”
Nature Photography, with Rory Earnshaw
British born photographer, Rory Earnshaw offered tips and techniques for capturing the majestic landscape of Lagoon Valley in Springtime.
Guests learned how to use depth of field, lighting and composition to make images that create emotion and visual impact. Rory’s work has appeared in numerous exhibitions, and his clients have included national and international organizations. Enjoy an afternoon in nature capturing the beauty of this 1,800-acre nature preserve.
Wildlife Tour with WRA
Tommy and Rachel are seasoned wildlife and plant biologists who assist with ongoing efforts to protect, enhance, and monitor sensitive resources at Lagoon Valley. Guests joined them as they showcased the Project’s mitigation efforts and learned about the local flora and fauna that inhabit the habitats around Lagoon Valley Lake. The tour included a leisurely nature walk around the perimeter of the lake to view the 64-acre Wetland Preserve — walking shoes and binoculars were encouraged!
Hawthorn Hills by Lennar Grand Opening
Hawthorn Hills is a new series of single-family homes, coming soon to the Lagoon Valley masterplan in Vacaville, CA.
Lilac Ridge Opendoor Seminar
Guests enjoyed an Opendoor Seminar to learn more about how to avoid the hassles of prep, staging, and showings and how to list with Opendoor.
