Robert Trent Jones II to Design Lagoon Valley’s Golf Course

The world-renowned Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects are coming to Lagoon Valley, designing an 18-hole championship course that will prioritize both the natural environment and the quality of play. Utilizing water conservation techniques alongside areas of wildlife preservation, the course will live in harmony with the existing terrain. It will provide a buffer between the 1,200-acre open space preserve and the live/work/play community. Upon completion, the course will seek Audubon Signature Sanctuary Certification.

A Conservation Community Deserves a Course Built on Sustainable Principles

Committed to the site-specific nature of each project, Robert Trent Jones II has an impressive portfolio of over 300 courses, all informed by the land. Speaking to this effort, Robert Trent Jones Jr. commented, “We are looking forward to helping in the creation of a brand-new golf destination at Lagoon Valley. The Par 72 Lagoon Valley golf course routing was designed by golf professional Tom Kite and features a championship length course that, at 7,000 yards from the back tees, can accommodate tournament play. Each of Lagoon’s 18 holes are unique and memorable, with breathtaking views and conservation easements for natural wildlife habitat embedded throughout the course. Appealing to various skill levels and the serenity of open spaces, the Lagoon Valley golf course will be an architectural wonder.
